What is USBC?

Founded in June 2021, USBC is the only national organization with a multi-state focused approach, leveraging hyperlocal relationships in over 46 states to seek consistent policies at the state level through alignment on public policy and legislative priorities. Led by representatives from Texas, Washington, California, Florida, Wyoming, Virginia, Alabama, and Pennsylvania, the USBC highlights and catalogs use cases, provides accessible education to policymakers, builds relationships with regulatory bodies and agencies, and proactively seeks new partnerships with industry, government, academia, entrepreneurs and investors to meaningfully grow the sector across the country. 

What is USBC’s vision/mission?

Leveraging the strength of collective advocacy and deep-rooted relationships across over 46 states, USBC effectively dismantles fragmentation and silos, paving the way for consistent state-level policies through alignment on public policy and legislative priorities. 

Why does this merger benefit both USBC and GBBC?

Recognizing the pivotal role that state-level organizations and legislators play in defining the regulatory and adoption landscape, GBBC and USBC will collaborate to amplify their collective influence across the U.S. Under GBBC’s guidance, USBC will leverage the expertise and insights of GBBC’s 500+ member community and gain access to GBBC’s comprehensive collection of educational resources. In turn, USBC’s extensive grassroots network will bolster GBBC’s relationships and advocacy initiatives across the U.S. 

What outputs has USBC previously delivered?

USBC has a proven track record of delivering valuable outputs to its members and the broader Web3 community. USBC hosts an annual Multistate Policy Conference, providing a platform for discussing policy priorities, sharing best practices, and addressing challenges agency coordination and advocacy. Additionally, USBC has released a comprehensive “State of Web3” report offering in-depth state-by-state analysis of Web3 activity, along with maintaining a use case catalogue to educate lawmakers and legislators.
