Previously known as the Harvard Arab Weekend, the Arab Conference at Harvard (ACH) is the largest pan-Arab conference in North America, bringing together over 1300 students and professionals as well as a 20,000-strong livestream audience from across the United States and globally to learn from leaders in a diverse array of sectors. This year is the 13th edition of the Arab Conference at Harvard hosted by Harvard Arab Alumni Association and associated student groups, and your partnership will support us to bring together a powerful gathering of Arab leaders and talented Arab youth from across the United States and globally.
ACH2020 will be held on the Harvard campus March 27-29, 2020 and is themed Change by Design: Young Leaders Building the Future. The Arab world today is young, dynamic, thirsty, and ready for revolutionary change. Facing tremendous opportunity and significant challenges, today’s Arab and Arab-American youth are bright, ambitious, hyper-connected, and poised to transform our region and shape in their very own digital and analog image. This year, our conference will examine the power and potential of youth as they lead the Arab World into the future technological age with a focus on six main pillars: Art & Culture, Education, Business & Entrepreneurship, Government, Identity, Science & Technology.
In addition to our core program of keynote speakers and panels, this year will feature TEDx-style ACHTalks featuring stories from talented and accomplished Arabs; the B-School Blitz Startup Pitch for young Arab Entrepreneurs; the annual Refugee Fundraiser giving back to refugee children and their families; the annual Career Fair connecting companies with a large pool of young talent; as well as The Souk, a dedicated place for networking and culture, and Undergraduate Spotlight, a special opportunity for undergraduates to present stimulating and original research, among other new and exciting events.
