About Sue Ennis:
Sue Ennis is an Emerging Technology & Innovation Champion, Fintech Advisor, Speaker, and Chartered Investment Manager. Her background is primarily in financial services, blockchain, fintech incubation, and advisory services to start ups and large enterprise corporations with a focus on optimizing sales, budget development, capital markets positioning, branding and territory expansion.
Prior to joining Hut8, Sue was Senior Vice President of Shyft Network helping lead the company’s ambitious vision to establish a scalable, blockchain-based data sharing protocol. Prior to joining Shyft, Sue worked with some of the largest asset managers in North America, with a primary focus on both global retail and institutional business development. She has been a driving force behind a number of impactful brand awareness campaigns; revenue generation; product development; new channel expansion and client acquisition, in traditional financial markets, cryptocurrency exchanges, and securitized tokens in the gold & mining sector.
Sue has been a keynote speaker at data privacy, technology and blockchain panels all over the world. You can find her working with various organizations in Canada, to advocate for better standards and comprehensive regulations for digital assets, and Open Banking initiatives in Canada.
With a passion for volunteering and travel, she has worked with street children in India; lived on a shark research boat in South Africa; Ultra-Marathoned in Greenland and the Middle East; and completed a two-week Jungle survival course in the Amazon
